This is probably a good school for stay at home moms with average to advanced kids, but stay away if you do not fall into that category. There is a huge guilt trip from the teachers and administrators if you work and cannot volunteer during school hours. If you child has any special needs or requirements, the school will fight you every step of the way. We had to hire a lawyer to get our child the help he deserves. The AP actually told us that she could not give our child the resources he needed, because she would then have to give other kids the help they need also.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the school! The teachers are wonderful, and as a working mom who does the 6-6:30 aftercare pickup, I always see the principal Mrs. DaCorsi working late nightly - super involved and caring principal. I had the option to permit into Las Virgenes for work, and CHOSE to send my daughter here so that she can go to school with the neighborhood kids. It's a small, close-knit school with great faculty. Couldn't ask for more. =)
