Flory is a Math and Science Magnet which generally has the highest test scores in the district. There is strong parental involvement and a very active PTA. Most classes have ample parent volunteers. The school booster club raises money to fund both a math and science specialist as well as some additional math programs. There is a very good after school program with enrichment classes and a very popular chess club. There are many activities such as a halloween carnival, science fair and math night throughout the year.
